Urban Primary Health Care Services (UPHCS)

This programme has been initiated in 1985 -86.
Presently it is being implemented in 50 ULBs.
Formerly CUDP, IPP- VIII and extension , RCH subproject and CSIP has been converged under one umbrella of UPHCS.
The programme is meant to provide basic health care service delivery to the requirements of urban population , to implement public health and national health programme for the populations.
The programme is funded by Dept of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs.
