Common Application Form (CAF) for the issuance of Trade License (Certificate of Enlistment ) and Registration under Shops and Establishment

Procedure

Step 1

For Issuance of Trade License (Permanent Certificate of Enlistment) the Applicant have to apply through ONLINE mode only in e- district portal (http://edistrict.wb.gov.in). The applicant has to complete OTP Based Registration for the applying online. Then After Registration Applicant can login through the West Bengal e-District Unified License for Trade & Shops tab using own Username and Password. Application form along with supporting documents should be submitted and after submission of Application Identification Number (AIN) will be generated.
After submission of Application, Applicant can track his/ her application status using AIN No. 

Step 2

After login through the West Bengal e-District Unified License for Trade & Shops tab, the Home page shows the comprehensive list of services under UDMA Common Application Form Portal. The Common Form for Issuance of Trade License (Certificate of Enlistment) and Registration of Shops & Establishments is a service under the UD&MA and Labour Department

Step 3

To apply for ‘Common Form for Issuance of Trade License (Certificate of Enlistment) and Registration of Shops & Establishments’, the user needs to select the correct options under the ‘Trade Category’ and ‘Nature of Trade’ drop down options before clicking on the ‘Next’ button and the user is finally directed to the Home screen which contains basic instructions for the user.

Step 4

Applicant’s Basic Information details related to Trade License and Registration of Shops and Establishment details are captured here.

Step 5

The user can click on Attach Supporting Document in order to upload or include the necessary supporting documents along with the application.

Step 6

Once the uploading of all the necessary documents is complete and the user clicks on ‘Save & Next’ to proceed.

Step 7

If everything is correct user needs to click on the ‘Submit’ button to submit the application finally. On Clicking on the ‘Submit’ button, the application is submitted and the Common Application ID is generated and displayed.

Step 8

Applicant can pay the Trade License Fees and Fees of Registration of Shops and Establishment through the 'Pay Now' option.

Step 9

If all the information furnished by the applicant is proper, then applicant can make payment online and immediately after payment Certificate will be generated in Real-time.
