e-Intimation (by applicant) of the Commencement of Construction

Procedure

Step 1: Login to the Application 

For login, Citizen should enter his/her ‘User Name’ & ‘Password’ and type the ‘Captcha’ as it appears in the screen then press Login to enter the home page of the application.

Step 2: Apply to Service 

In order to apply for e-intimation for Commencement of Building Construction, an existing building plan approval is mandatory.
Not less than seven days before any person commences to erect or re-erect a building, the owner of the building shall send to the notification, specifying the date on which he proposes to commence the work.
Basically, citizen login to e-Grihanaksha Portal (https://obpsudma.wb.gov.in)

• Click on ‘list of files for building permit’.
• Click on AIN (status- signatory authority approved), detailed view page will appear.
• Click on Commencement notification.
• A Pop-up box (date picker) will appear.
• Choose date & submit.

Step 3: File submitted to ULB (Notice of commencement to Nodal Officer)

ULB will check the date & consent to work (Commencement of work acknowledged by Nodal Officer)
